City of New York

Highways
Noise
Crimes
Fashion
Money
Dumpsters
Homeless
Economy
Bargains
Fast Food
Restaurants
Night Life
Supersize
On Broadway
Melting Pot
Construction Workers
Upper Class
Rent Parties

Don't you love New York?

  1. I my favorite part of this poem is how you used conflicting statements to show just how big of a melting pot that this city is. For example, you say that the city is both the city is a place of bargins and high prices. To me Thats exactly what New York is.

  7. I like how you used one or two word lines. It really brings out how New York City is fast-paced and has sudden stops. That may not be how you intended it to be, but that's how I interpreted it.
    I liked how you said, "Supersize" because that emphasizes how much larger our meals are compared to other states and places.

  9. "Don't you love the city?" is my favorite line because it makes you want to read the poem again and really reflect and think about your answer to the question. I love the city.
